Last night at Chapter MovieMaker: July jam

Screen 2 was crammed full of attractive and intelligent people last night, and here's what they saw:

* Resident globetrotter Malcolm Boorer presented Ismael, the subject of his latest documentary;
* Tony Evans expertly brought noir to Pontypridd in The Legend of Don Williams;
* Sophie Millien explored cinema and escapism to striking effect in Untitled #1;
* Wito Werner took us inside Factory, an experimental work with a 60s fusion soundtrack;
* Writer-star Simon Winkler and director Alasdair Ogilvie presented Lumps, a kinetic caper pitched as "Laurel and Hardy meets The Krays";
* Finally James Morrissey trailed his forthcoming grindhouse flick Alone With The Dead with the grizzliest narration ever recorded.
